携帯電話で反則負け

京都チェスサークル掲示板6月2日(金)17時31分27秒付のyamagishi氏の書き込みで知ったのですが、5月20日から6月4日までトリノで開催されていたチェスオリンピアードの中で、携帯電話が鳴ったことを理由とした反則負けがあったそうです。

反則負けとなったのはアルバニアの女子選手。3手目（将棋で言うと6手目）で携帯電話が鳴ったため、その場で負けを宣告されたということです。この措置はFIDE Laws of Chessの中の12.2の条文に基づいています。

During play the players are forbidden to make use of any notes, sources of information, advice, or analyse on another chessboard.

It is strictly forbidden to bring mobile phones or other electronic means of communication, not authorised by the arbiter, into the playing venue. If a player`s mobile phone rings in the playing venue during play, that player shall lose the game. The score of the opponent shall be determined by the arbiter.

1つ目の文は、対局中に他から情報を得てはいけないという内容。それに続く第2文で、対局場に携帯電話を持ち込むことが禁止されていること、および携帯電話が鳴ったら負けとなることが明記されています。上の対局ではそのような序盤で携帯電話を使っても大したことはできなかったでしょうけども、ルールはルールということです。

このルールが導入されたのは比較的最近だったと思いますが、いつだったかは忘れてしまいました。
